We all know architects love building things, but for A&M Architects, the most important part of their work is building relationships. AG Design Agency did a complete revamp of the 40-year-old architecture firm’s visual identity to reflect its experience, values, and diverse portfolio of services.
A&M Architects a multidisciplinary firm, houses all project-related services under one roof including architectural, interior, and graphic design, engineering, project, and construction management, provided either on a stand-alone or an integrated basis. With “Building Relationships” as a driver philosophy since their start, the new visual identity needed to capture the company’s values and act as a unifying brand system for all these verticals, ensuring visual consistency, while embracing the unity of services under one roof.

To embody the company’s values of building relationships, the ampersand symbol, an element already existing in the previous logo, becomes a standalone trademark symbol, perfectly encapsulating core brand attributes and the power that comes from collaborations, relationships and the endless possibilities found under one roof. The A&M ampersand is amplified with two extended ligatures, acting like open hands that invite connectedness and visionary thinking.
A palette of bold new colors has been added to the identity that corresponds to different values. This is part of a total visual system of vibrant tiles incorporating images, colors, and typography, which enables fresh, forward-thinking visual communications that position the brand into its new era.
